I was wrong.  Boy, was I wrong!  Quinn’s stomach bug was not over yesterday  morning when I thought it was and it showed itself during our lunch out in a restaurant yesterday.  Literally, showed itself.  On the back of Quinn’s pants and shirt.  And on the highchair.  Luckily I was able to take him into the restroom to change him without attracting attention from the other diners.  When we returned to the table, my nurse friend said “Wow, in all of my nursing experiences, I have never seen it be THAT color”.  Way to keep it original, Quinn!

We ended up going through another pair of pants during the remainder of our 2 hour outing which resulted in Quinn wearing an outfit made of articles of clothing that had been stashed in my car.  In some cases, the clothing had been put in there months ago, meaning Quinn looked like the person who dressed him was colorblind and expecting a flood!

Needless to say, Quinn is taking a sick day today.  Ryan and I are taking turns staying with him- me in the morning, Ryan in the afternoon.  So far today he has eaten more than he has in the past 4 days combined and has not had any more diaper incidents, but I said something similar yesterday and was obviously proved wrong.  Let’s hope this time I’m right and Quinn gets better soon- because he’s running out of clean pants to wear!

Can a baby eat yogurt? I do not think it is like honey in which you need to wait and see if they are allergic. My experience is yogurt– the greek kind especially helps to add the natural enzymes back into the stomach. It is very good for a stomach flu. Mixed with apple sauce or bananas should make it a little more like a treat. I hope the boy feels better– poor thing.
